Regiomontanus houses, calculated for the realistic actual kickoff: Sunday 18 October 2026, 3:27 PM CDT (20:27 UTC), at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City (39.05°N, 94.48°W). Day chart: the Sun is in the 8th, below the horizon, but the chart is diurnal. The Kansas City Chiefs hold the 1st house as favourite and as home side, so the favourite-first and home-first conventions agree and nothing here turns on the choice. Aquarius rises, so Lord 1 is Saturn. The Los Angeles Chargers hold the 7th, with Leo on the cusp, so Lord 7 is the Sun. Dignities follow Lilly's table with Ptolemaic terms and Chaldean faces. A planet within 5° before a cusp, in the cusp's sign, is counted in the next house. Fortune follows the day formula.

A favor de Kansas City Chiefs
Moon, reception. The Moon is void of course: it separated from the Sun by square about four hours before the chart and has no further aspect. Nothing is translated or collected, so the matter rests on the two significators. What the Moon does show is reception. It sits in Capricorn, Saturn's domicile, so it lies in Lord 1's power. It stands in the Sun's face only, which is the thinnest dignity. Domicile outweighs face, so the Moon leans to the Chiefs, though a Moon in detriment and in the 12th carries little.
Lord 7 and the combust Venus. The Sun, Lord 7, is applying to Venus, which is retrograde, in detriment and combust. The orb is a little over eight degrees. The Chargers' significator is joining a wrecked planet, and that is a poor use of its approach. The Sun leaves Libra in under five days, so after the game, and that adds nothing here.
Lord 4 against Jupiter. Mercury, Lord 4 and the Chargers' success, is peregrine at −5 and slow. It is applying to a square with Jupiter, Lord 10 and the Chiefs' success, which holds the term (+2). The square is hostile, but it is the weaker planet that is approaching the stronger. This tilts toward the Chiefs on the question of who gets what they want.
Mars trine Saturn. Mars is separating from a trine with Saturn within two degrees. Saturn is Lord 1, so the Chiefs' significator has had help from Mars. Mars is peregrine and the aspect is already past, so this is a small point.
A favor de Los Angeles Chargers
Dignity and speed. On dignity the two significators are level: Saturn and the Sun are each −9, both in fall and peregrine. They stand in mutual reception by exaltation, each in the other's exaltation sign. That softens both falls equally and gives neither side the advantage. What separates them is motion. The Sun is direct at normal speed, while Saturn is retrograde. Of two equal significators the direct one is the better, and this is the Chargers' best testimony.
Jupiter in the 7th. Jupiter, the one dignified planet in the chart, sits in the Chargers' house, 9°32' past the Descendant. It is Lord 10, so the Chiefs' success lies in the opponent's house. The Sun, Lord 7, separates from it by sextile, so there was friendship there, but that is past. This gives the Chargers presence rather than power.
Mars at the Descendant. Mars sits 1°26' before the Descendant and opposes the Ascendant, so it presses on the Chiefs' own angle. By the 5° rule it counts in the 7th; strictly it is in the 6th, and the sweep shows it crossing within ten minutes. As a peregrine Mars at −5 this is an affliction of the Chiefs' angle, but the testimony is unstable and I count it lightly.
Juicio. The chart leans slightly to the Chiefs. The significators are equal in dignity and joined in mutual reception, so the favour comes from the Moon's reception, the Sun's approach to a combust Venus, and Mercury's weakness against Jupiter. The Chargers' direct Sun against a retrograde Saturn, and Jupiter in their house, keep it close.
