Regiomontanus houses, set for the kickoff as listed: 7:00 PM CST, Wednesday 21 October 2026 (01:00 UTC), Estadio Cuauhtémoc, Puebla (19°05'N, 98°10'W). Night chart. The favourite, Monterrey, holds the 1st house and the home side, Puebla, the 7th. Favourite-first is followed here. The favourite is the away side, so home-first would give Puebla the Ascendant and Venus and Monterrey the Descendant and Mars. Every testimony below would then change hands. Taurus rises, so Lord 1 is Venus (Monterrey). Scorpio sets, so Lord 7 is Mars (Puebla). Monterrey's success is Lord 10, Saturn. Puebla's is Lord 4, the Sun. Lilly's dignity table, Ptolemaic terms. The Part of Fortune is reversed at night, which puts it in Capricorn.

A favor de Monterrey
The Moon. The Moon's last aspect was a trine to Venus, eight hours before kickoff, and Venus receives her by exaltation. The light that left the chart came from Monterrey's significator. It is a modest testimony. Mars also receives the Moon, by triplicity, so she is shared between the sides. She is not void, and her next aspect, a trine to Mercury, falls after the game. There is no translation of light.
Reception. The reception between the significators is mutual. Mars sits in Venus's term, so Puebla's significator stands in Monterrey's power. That gives Venus a claim on Mars and is the best thing the chart says for her. Against it, a term is the lesser dignity beside the domicile in which Venus herself sits, so she is the debtor in the exchange.
Puebla's success. Puebla's Lord 4, the Sun, is in fall and peregrine (−9) in the cadent 6th. The house of the home side's success rests on a weak planet. The Sun is also applying to Venus, which burns Monterrey's significator, so this gives Monterrey little.
A favor de Puebla
Essential dignity. Mars is peregrine, −5. Venus is in detriment as well as peregrine, −10. Neither significator is strong, but Puebla's is better by a clear margin. This is the weightiest single comparison in the chart.
Combustion, retrogression and house. Venus is combust the Sun (applying, orb 3°23') and retrograde at 0.60° a day. She sits in the cadent 6th, 13°38' short of the Descendant, far outside the 5° rule, so she cannot count as angular. Monterrey's significator is burnt, backward, slow and out of the way. Mars is direct and moving normally.
Monterrey's success. Saturn, Lord 10, is in fall and retrograde in the 12th, the house of self-undoing (−9). The sweep shows him crossing into the 11th within ten minutes, so the exact house is unstable. The weakness of the planet is not. Monterrey's own house of success is carried by a spoiled planet.
Angularity and the 4th. Mars is in the 4th, an angular house and Puebla's own house of success, 8°29' past the IC. Jupiter, dignified (+5), stands beside him in the same house, a benefic in the home side's success house. Mars squares both Ascendant and Descendant at 2°13', which troubles both sides' angles equally and so does not separate them. Mercury sits in the 7th, past the Descendant by under 5°, but he is peregrine and slow, so it adds little.
Juicio. The chart leans to Puebla. The dignity comparison, a combust retrograde Venus out in the 6th, and a ruined Saturn all point one way, while the Moon is shared and the reception is mixed. Puebla's own significator is only peregrine and squares the angles, so the lean is not a decision.
